Soldiers had sweets on Diwali

Army sources had said on Wednesday that after an important agreement between India and China, the withdrawal of troops from Demchok and Depsang, the two standoff points on the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh, has been completed and will soon be deployed at these places. But patrolling will be started. After which on Thursday, on the occasion of Diwali, sweets were exchanged between the two sides on several borders along the LAC.

The scope of patrolling will be expanded further

Let us tell you that the soldiers of India and China have retreated from the two conflict areas. The step was taken a day before the exchange of sweets. It is considered to be a good beginning in the relations between these two countries. Sources say that going forward the scope and level of patrolling may be the same as before April 2020. This is a positive step towards reducing the increasing tension between the two countries. It is expected that relations between the two countries will improve.

What was the agreement between India and China?

A new agreement has been signed between India and China in Demchok and Depsang. Under this agreement, soldiers of both the countries will return to their previous positions before April 2020. This agreement is only for Demchok and Depsang, not for other places. Troops from both sides will return to pre-April 2020 status quo and will patrol the areas where they patrolled till April 2020.
