India Canada Tensions: What is Canada hiding? India asked for death certificate in Nijjar murder case, Trudeau government refused

New Delhi: Canada, which blamed India for the murder of Khalistani supporter Hardeep Singh Nijjar, is now falling into its own trap. First the Trudeau government blamed India for the murder of Nijjar, now when the Indian investigating agency NIA asked for the death certificate of Nijjar, Canada refused to give it. Canada clearly refused to give the death certificate of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Why should India be given the death certificate of its citizen? Let us tell you that nine cases were pending against Nijjar in India. NIA was asking for his/her death certificate to update the cases after his/her death, but the Trudeau government is refusing to provide it. There has been tension between the two countries since the murder of Nijjar in Canada. Canada had alleged the role of Indian agencies in the murder, but India had vehemently rejected these allegations. Recently, Canada had declared some senior Indian diplomats as persons of interest in the Nijjar murder case. In response, India had recalled all these diplomats.

‘India has no role in Nijjar’s murder’

India recently recalled one of its senior diplomats, Sanjay Verma, from Canada. After coming to India, Sanjay Verma denied all the allegations made by Canada as wrong. Sanjay Verma has strongly denied the allegations against the Indian government over the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada. he/she said the investigation is ongoing and the Indian government has nothing to do with the murder. Sanjay Verma said Canada has not yet provided any evidence to India of India’s involvement in Nijjar’s murder. Accusing Canada of adopting double standards, he/she said that India had given information several times about fundamentalist and terrorist organizations operating in Canada, but the Canadian government did not take any action on it.

Today’s Indian is not afraid

The Trudeau government had declared Sanjay Verma a ‘person of interest’ and the Canadian police wanted to interrogate him/her. On this Sanjay Verma said that this is what I wanted to know from him/her. Because, when you want to interrogate someone, first of all tell them why you want to interrogate them. After all, what evidence do they have, due to which they want to interrogate me?

If they had shown me and told me, I would have understood but an attempt is being made to threaten me without showing any evidence, but today’s Indian is not afraid. Sanjay Verma said that how, who and why Nijjar was murdered will be investigated. Is the subject. he/she said that it would be too early to say anything until the investigation is completed.
