India included in cyber threat list

Canada’s spy agency Communication Security Establishment (CSE) has included India in the list of threatening countries. According to reports, this is the first time that India’s name has appeared in this list of the Canadian government. The cyber department of CSE released the report on October 31. It contains the names of the countries that will pose a threat in 2025-26. In this, India has been placed at fifth position after China, Russia, Iran and North Korea. It has been said that the Indian government is developing modern cyber programs, which pose a threat to Canada on many levels.

Ban on companies… We are in touch with America: Ministry of External Affairs

The Ministry of External Affairs said that it is in touch with America on the US ban on many Indian companies. The US had imposed sanctions on many Indian companies for allegedly supporting Russian defense companies. Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal also said in response to a question that India has a ‘strong legal and regulatory framework’ on strategic trade and non-proliferation controls.
