A fleet of vehicles manufactured by India’s Mahindra & Mahindra company was formally handed over to Minister of Public Security Tiran Elles by Gopal Baglay, High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka on Thursday.

The High Commission said that in addition to this, in March 2022, the Government of India also provided a concessional line of credit of $1 billion to Sri Lanka through the State Bank of India for the supply of essential commodities like food, medicine, fuel.
