New Delhi. India defeated Bangladesh by 280 runs in the first test. Shakib Al Hasan, who came to open the innings on the fourth day, was dismissed after scoring 25 runs. Captain Nazmul Hossain Shanto lost his/her wicket at 82 runs. After this, Liton Das was dismissed after scoring 1, Mehdi Hasan Miraz after scoring 8, Taskin Ahmed after scoring 5 runs. Ravichandran Ashwin took a total of 6 wickets in the second innings and defeated Bangladesh within 2 hours.

On the second day, R Ashwin played a brilliant century. After the bat, he/she also showed excellent performance with the ball. On the fourth day, he/she dismissed 3 batsmen in the second innings against Bangladesh. With this, Ashwin took a total of 6 wickets. Talking about other bowlers, Ravindra Jadeja took 3 wickets and Jasprit Bumrah took 1 wicket in the second innings.

Nazmul Hussain Shanto said after the defeat that the way Hasan, Taskin and Nahid Rana bowled in the first innings is a good thing for us. India batted really well. We have bowled really well with the new ball, but we have to continue it. As a batsman, I always try to contribute. I enjoy my batting. We should bat as much as possible without thinking about the result.
