India-Bangladesh Test match: These spectators will have free entry in Green Park Stadium, see ticket rates here


Kanpur: A test match between India and Bangladesh is going to be organized at Green Park Stadium from 27 September. This match is being held in Kanpur after almost three years, and preparations for it are in the final stages. The ticket prices for this match have also been decided, and soon the ticket sales will start online and offline. Venue director Sanjay Kapoor shared many important information about the preparations for this historic match in an exclusive conversation with Local 18.

After a long gap of three years, an international match is being held at Kanpur’s Green Park Stadium. To make this match special, preparations are going on at war level in the stadium. According to Venue Director Dr. Sanjay Kapoor, this match will be historic and through this, efforts will be made to host more international matches in the future at Green Park Stadium.

Full preparation for the possibility of rain
Keeping in mind the possibility of rain during the match, special arrangements have been made at the Green Park Stadium. Necessary covers have been ordered to keep the ground safe and modern machines have been arranged to dry the ground quickly. Dr. Sanjay Kapoor said that the drainage system has also been completely repaired in case of rain, so that there is no hindrance in the match.

Ticket prices finalised
The prices of tickets for different stands and pavilions for the match have been fixed.
Pavilion Balcony: ₹1500 per day, ₹6000 for the entire match
Pavilion Balcony A: ₹2000 per day, ₹6000 for the entire match
Directorate Pavilion, Pavilion Box, VIP Pavilion: ₹5000 per day, ₹20000 for the entire match
The public seating capacity of the stadium will be decided after the final report. Online ticket sales will start soon and offline counters will also be set up at the Green Park Stadium.

Free admission for school children
Venue Director Dr. Sanjay Kapoor said that a plan has been made to show this historic match for school children for free. Schools that want to show the match to their students can contact the organizers and make their students a part of this historic match.
