There is no doubt that every Indian fan is blaming the batsmen for this. However, very few people are asking why captain Jasprit Bumrah decided to bat first on a pitch where there was enough grass to play a tennis match.

The fifth Test between India and Australia is being played in Sydney. India entered this match without its regular captain Rohit Sharma. If India had batted on the second day after this, it might have got a pitch with less grass. It wouldn’t have made much difference, but batting would have been a little easier on the second day. However, there will be help for the bowlers on the second day also.
