INDI alliance will sit in opposition, there is no effort to form government at the moment, Kharge said- the fight will continue

New Delhi: After the results of the Lok Sabha elections 2024, the period of suspense in the NDA and INDI alliance is now over. The speculation about the opposition forming the government has finally come to an end. While the NDA has chosen Narendra Modi as the leader of the alliance, on the other hand, the opposition alliance has decided in its meeting that they will not make efforts to form the government at the moment. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has said that the INDI alliance will wait for the right time and will continue to fight unitedly against Modi’s rule.

No attempt to form government
That is, the opposition alliance has made it clear in gestures that they will not try to form the government at the moment. Rather, they will remain in the role of a strong opposition. After this, the path for Narendra Modi to become the Prime Minister for the third time has also been cleared. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said, ‘In our meeting, the leaders of the alliance parties gave many suggestions and discussions on the current political situation and the current situation, the conclusion was that we all want to say together – ‘The components of the INDI alliance express their gratitude to the people of India for the huge support received by our alliance. The mandate of the people has given a befitting reply to the BJP and its politics of hatred and corruption. This mandate is to protect the Constitution of India and against inflation, unemployment and crony capitalism and to save democracy. The INDI alliance will continue the fight against the fascist rule of the Modi-led BJP’…”

‘Opposition parties welcome in alliance’
During the INDI alliance meeting, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said that the INDI alliance welcomes all those political parties who have unwavering faith in the preamble of the Indian Constitution. he/she told the allies, “I welcome all the allies of the INDI alliance. We fought together, fought in coordination and fought with full strength. Congratulations to all of you. According to the Congress President, the public opinion of the 18th Lok Sabha election is directly against Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The election was fought on his/her name and face and the public has given a clear message to his/her leadership by not giving majority to the BJP. Personally, for Modi ji, this is not only a political defeat, but also a moral defeat. We all are aware of his/her habits. he/she will try his/her best to deny this public opinion.

All opposition leaders were present
Kharge said, “We also convey from here that the India Alliance welcomes all those political parties who have unwavering faith in the preamble of the Constitution of India and are committed to its objectives of economic, social and political justice. Mallikarjun Kharge, Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Akhilesh Yadav, Abhishek Banerjee, Sitaram Yechury, MK Stalin, Sanjay Singh, Sharad Pawar, Tejashwi Yadav, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra etc. attended the India Alliance meeting held on Wednesday evening. The India Alliance has called the meeting to decide its future strategy.

It is worth noting that the All India Alliance including the Congress Party has won 234 seats in the Lok Sabha elections. On the other hand, the BJP-led NDA alliance has won 292 seats, securing a clear majority.
