IND vs ZIM: India got a big win in the second T20, defeated Zimbabwe by 100 runs, the series was tied 1-1


New Delhi. The Indian team landed in Harare to play the second T20 against Zimbabwe (India vs Zimbabwe) on Sunday, July 7. Zimbabwe had to face defeat by 100 runs here. India won the toss against Zimbabwe and decided to bat first. The Indian team scored 234 runs in 20 overs. Zimbabwe had to score 235 runs to win. But Zimbabwe could only score 134 runs in 18.4 overs. The 5-match T20 series is tied at 1-1.

Captain Shubman Gill, who came to open for India, was sent to the pavilion by Brian Bennett on a personal score of 2. After this, Abhishek Sharma and Rituraj Gaikwad’s storm was seen. Abhishek Sharma got a lifeline on the fifth ball of the 8th over. Masaqazada dropped his/her catch. After this, Abhishek did not look back and scored a century in just 46 balls. Abhishek scored his/her first half-century in the second T20 of his/her career. In his/her innings, Abhishek hit 8 sixes and 7 fours.

Gaikwad Rinku also made a splash
Rituraj Gaikwad hit a half-century in the second T20 match against Zimbabwe. Gaikwad has hit 11 fours and 1 six in his/her innings so far. Gaikwad completed his/her fifty in 38 balls. he/she scored 77 runs in 47 balls. At the same time, Rinku Singh appeared in dangerous form. Rinku hit a six to take the team’s score past 200. he/she scored 48 runs in 22 balls. In this way, the team scored 234 runs for the loss of 2 wickets in 20 overs.

Poor batting by Zimbabwe

The third T20 will be played on July 10
The 5 match T20 series is tied at 1-1. Now the next i.e. the third T20 match will be played in Harare on Wednesday, July 10. The Indian team would like to win this match and take the lead in the series. Shubman Gill will be seen leading the Indian team.
