IND vs PAK: India lost under the captaincy of Robin Uthappa, Pakistan won the match without losing any wicket.


New Delhi. India lost to arch-rival Pakistan by six wickets in their opening match of the Hong Kong Sixes Cricket Tournament on Friday (November 1) due to poor performance by the bowlers. Bharat Chipli retired hurt and before returning to the pavilion, played a stormy innings of 53 runs in 16 balls as India scored 119 runs in the stipulated six overs. Indian captain Robin Uthappa also contributed 31 runs in eight balls.

But Indian bowlers could not perform well. Pakistan’s batsmen maintained their dominance from the beginning and achieved the target with one over remaining. Asif Ali played an important role in Pakistan’s victory. he/she laid the foundation of victory by scoring 55 runs in 14 balls. Asif Ali retired hurt after scoring a half-century. After this, Muhammad Akhlaq (40 not out on 12 balls) and Faheem Ashraf (22 not out on five balls) took Pakistan to the target.

Pakistan won the toss and decided to field first. Which proved effective for him/her. Other batsmen for India like Kedar Jadhan, Manoj Tiwari and Stuart Binny were unsuccessful. India has to play the next match against UAE. This match will be played on 2 November. It will be interesting to see which team wins here. India has played one match so far in which it has lost.
