Ind vs Nz Test: Coach Gautam Gambhir said- Shubman Gill is not returning…


New Delhi. Indian cricket team’s young star Shubman Gill could not play in the first test match against New Zealand due to being unfit. Due to stiffness in his/her throat, he/she was kept out of the playing eleven of the Bengaluru Test. Sarfaraz Khan was given a chance in his/her place. Taking full advantage of this opportunity, he/she played an inning of 150 runs. Now the question in everyone’s mind is whether Shubman Gill will make a comeback or not.

Chief Gautam Gambhir spoke to the media before the second test match to be played against New Zealand in Pune. he/she gave an update on Shubman Gill’s injury and also told whether he/she is playing the next match or not. On the question of Gill’s return, Gambhir said that Shubman Gill, who was out of the Bangalore Test due to sore throat, will play in this match. he/she said, “Shubman is not returning, he/she was already in the team.” he/she was injured in the last match due to which he/she could not play.

Gambhir said that his/her coaching philosophy is to win against the odds and India had shown the spirit of comeback in the Bengaluru Test. he/she said, “This happens in cricket.” If you enjoyed our game in Kanpur then you will have to accept days like Bengaluru also. The good thing is that despite being out for 46 runs, we were trying to win the Test. We want to play this kind of cricket. Our ultimate goal is to win at any cost.
