IND vs NZ: Hardik did not give a chance… Pacer left the series to play Ranji, created a furore by taking 3 wickets

New Delhi. The third and last match of the T20 series between India and New Zealand is to be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad today. Two days before the match, the star fast bowler has left the Indian team. The intention of this bowler behind doing this is to make his Ranji Trophy team Bengal the champion. Yes, we are talking about Mukesh Kumar, the fast bowler of the Bengal team. Mukesh was part of the Indian squad till the Lucknow T20 match against New Zealand and is currently playing for the Bengal Ranji team.

Jharkhand has done the mind

The quarter-final matches of the Ranji Trophy 2022-23 season have started from Tuesday. Mukesh Kumar, a part of the Indian squad, is currently playing with the Bihar team during the match against Jharkhand at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. By the end of the first day’s play, he played an important role in bowling out the Jharkhand team for 173 runs on the basis of his sharp bowling. He bowled a total of 21.2 overs against Jharkhand. During this, he gave 61 runs and also took three important wickets.

Hardik Pandya did not give a chance

Mukesh Kumar was also a part of the squad for the series played against Sri Lanka before the India-New Zealand T20 series. Back to back 5 T20 matches passed and captain Hardik Pandya did not give him a chance in the playing XI. In such a situation, the star fast bowler thought it better to turn to Ranji again.

According to reports, after the Lucknow T20 match, Mukesh Kumar flew directly to Kolkata after taking permission from the team management and joined his team Bengal on Monday itself. On Tuesday, he also showed the ability of his sharp bowling.
