What would be a matter of relief for any captain, but Rohit Sharma did not look satisfied with this. After the match, he/she praised the return of India fiercely, while also counted the shortcomings. Rohit himself could also score 2 runs in the match.

The first ODI was played between India and England on Thursday. England scored 248 runs in this match. England once scored 75 runs without a wicket, but the Indian bowlers made a brilliant comeback and gave the visiting team in 47.4 overs. After this, India achieved the target with 4 wickets in the 39th over. India had lost two wickets for 19 runs. Despite this, Team India scored 251 runs losing 6 wickets.

After the match, Rohit Sharma praised Team India’s return. he/she said, ‘I am very happy because we were playing in this format after a long time. We did not start well but the way he/she returned was fantastic. This is a slightly long format, in which you get a chance to return. When things start going away from you, it is not that this will happen. You can return. Our bowlers did a good job with a consecutive wickets.

Chasing the target, India had scored 221 runs for 3 wickets at one time. But after this, within 14 runs, Akshar Patel, KL Rahul and Shubman Gill were dismissed. Captain Rohit Sharma expressed disappointment on this. he/she said, ‘As a team we wanted us to perform well in batting and bowling. We also did this to a great extent but I think in the end we should not lose wickets.
