India vs England 2nd T20: England had to face defeat in the second T20 match played between India and England. Tilak Verma, who became a one man army for Team India, played a brilliant innings for India.

New Delhi. England had to face defeat in the second T20 match played between India and England. Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav won the toss in the match and decided to bowl first, which proved effective for him/her. Batting first, England had set a target of 166 runs for Team India, chasing which the Indian team won in the last over.

Jos Buttler played a good innings for England but the rest of England’s batsmen could not support him/her. Butler scored 45 runs in 30 balls with the help of two fours and three sixes. he/she hit two fours and a six in one over of fast bowler Arshdeep Singh. Arshdeep dismissed Phil Salt in the very first over. Salt caught Washington Sundar on the square leg boundary. Sundar also got success early when Ben Duckett caught Dhruv Jurel while trying to play a reverse sweep.

Varun Chakraborty dodged

All-rounder Brayden Carse, who was included in the team in place of Gus Atkinson, scored 31 runs in 17 balls with the help of three sixes but lost his/her wicket due to a misunderstanding in taking runs with Jofra Archer. Apart from this, Harry Brook started aggressively and hit a six off spinner Varun Chakraborty. But he/she was completely dodged by Chakravarthy’s single ball whereas there is not even fog in Chennai. The ball hit his/her off stump and he/she had to return to the pavilion.

Abhishek- Sanju flop

On the basis of excellent performance by the spinners, India restricted England to 165 runs for nine wickets in the second T20 match on Saturday. Axar Patel and Varun Chakraborty took 2-2 wickets for India. Now it was Team India’s turn to chase. Abhishek Sharma and Sanju Samson, who came to open for India, could not get a special start. Both were out after scoring 5 and 12 runs respectively. Suryakumar Yadav also could not do anything amazing. India had lost 5 wickets for 78 runs.

Tilak Verma wreaked havoc
Tilak Verma came to bat at number three in this match. he/she faced a total of 55 balls in the match and played an innings of 72 runs. Tilak took over the innings of Team India like a one man army and won the match. Apart from Tilak, Washington Sundar also played a brilliant inning of 26 runs. Tilak gave victory to India by hitting a four on the second ball of the last over.
