IND vs BAN: India’s face changed, all players of test team rested, see full squad

New Delhi. The face of the Indian cricket team changed overnight. BCCI announced the new T20 team on Saturday night during the India-Bangladesh Test series. The Indian Board has given rest to all the players involved in the Test series. Players given rest also include players like Akshar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, who were not part of the playing eleven in the Test series.

A test match is currently being played between India and Bangladesh in Kanpur. After this, T20 series will be played from 6th October. There will be three matches in the T20 series. The first match of the T20 series will be played in Gwalior, the second in New Delhi and the third in Hyderabad. After this India will play home test series against New Zealand.

Till a day ago, there were speculations that those players who have not got a chance to play Test matches will get a place in the Indian T20 team. These include Akshar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Yash Dayal, Dhruv Jurel. But this did not happen. The reason for this is believed to be that the board wants to keep the Test players completely fresh before the series against New Zealand and Australia.
