IND vs BAN: After Australia, India can increase Bangladesh’s headache, record is very bad, know the probable XI

New Delhi. India will play its second match in the Super 8 of T20 World Cup 2024 against Bangladesh on 22 June. Both the teams are ready for this. Bangladesh had to face defeat against Australia in their last match. If they lose to India as well, their dream of reaching the semi-finals will be shattered. Their T20 record against India has also been poor. India and Bangladesh will clash in Antigua.

If we look at the statistics between India and Bangladesh, both the teams have clashed 13 times in T20 International cricket where India has the upper hand. The Indian team has won 12 matches while Bangladesh has won only one match. In such a situation, the star-studded Indian team should not have any problem in registering a win against Bangladesh. Team India is in great form and has won 4 matches in a row.

Talking about the T20 World Cup, the Indian and Bangladesh teams have clashed thrice where the Indian team has whitewashed the opposition team. India has been victorious in all three matches. Both the teams have faced each other in the T20 World Cup of 2009, 2014 and 2016. Team India won by 25 runs in 2009 while in 2014 India won by eight wickets over Bangladesh. In 2016, Team India won by one run.

This could be the playing XI of both the teams:

Bangladesh Playing XI: Tanjid Hasan, Liton Das (wicketkeeper), Nazmul Hossain Shanto (captain), Shakib Al Hasan, Tauheed Hridoy, Mahmudullah, Mehdi Hasan, Rishad Hossain, Taskin Ahmed, Tanzim Hasan Sakib, Mustafizur Rahman
