IND vs AUS: Indian players injured before the match against Australia, difficult to play!

New DelhiIndian batsman Jemimah Rodrigues retired hurt after leading Brisbane Heat to victory over Sydney Thunder in the Women’s Big Bash League (WBBL) match here on Friday and it is likely that the injury to her left wrist has become serious. Due to this injury, concerns have increased about his/her availability for the three-match ODI series against Australia starting from December 5.

Brisbane Heat defeated Sydney Thunder by nine wickets to reach the title match against Melbourne Renegades at MCG on Sunday. Jemima scored 43 runs in 30 balls after which she retired hurt. This was the 10th over of Brisbane Heat while chasing the target of 134 runs. Sydney Thunder fielders missed the opportunity to catch Jemima three times.

In the last match, Jemima had suffered a wrist injury while trying to save the boundary, perhaps this injury has emerged. She was batting with a bandage on her left wrist and after some time she started having trouble and she left the field after the drinks break. Georgia Redmayne (51 not out) scored an unbeaten half-century, due to which Brisbane Heat achieved this target in 28 balls. Jemima has been selected in the Indian women’s team in which the team will play three ODIs against Australia on December 5, December 8 (Brisbane) and December 11 (Perth).
