Ind vs Aus: Beware Team India! Mitchell Starc will target this Indian batsman in the second innings, himself revealed

New DelhiAustralian fast bowler Mitchell Starc said on Friday that the first day of the second pink-ball Test match against India was very good for his/her team and a better start could not have been expected. Starc took six wickets for 48 runs and played an important role in bowling out India for 180 runs in the first innings. In response, Australia has scored 86 runs for one wicket in its first innings by the end of the first day’s play.

Starc told reporters after the end of the first day’s play, “I think the first day of bowling was good for us. We did well after the first hour of the day. This is a good way to start the test match. We also ended the day on a good note. Overall it was a very good day for us.”

This left-arm fast bowler had gained a psychological edge by dismissing Yashasvi Jaiswal, who had scored a century in the first Test match, on the very first ball of the match. Starc said, “he/she (Jaiswal) had performed well in the first Test match last week, so it was good to get him/her out early. We will have to work on getting him/her out early in the second innings also.”

Starc feels that Test cricket has changed somewhat since he/she joined the Australian team and many young, talented and fearless cricketers playing in the Indian Premier League are emerging and making an impact in Test cricket. he/she said, “Yes, the game has changed. The game is allowed to be changed. I think it’s partly the T20 era. Some of these players have come forward through IPL and they play fearlessly.”
