Ind vs Aus: Are Gautam Gambhir and Nair failing? The veteran raised questions, said- I think…

New Delhi. Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are facing criticism for the way they lost their wickets during the ongoing Test series against Australia. But youngsters Shubhman Gill, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant are also not giving time to spend time at the crease. Virat Kohli scored runs only in the first test. Apart from this he/she has been a flop till now. Team India does not have any batting coach, hence former cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has raised questions on the coaching.

Former veteran batsman Sanjay Manjrekar questioned the usefulness of a batting coach in the team when the technique of Indian batsmen did not improve. he/she wrote on ‘X’, “I think the time has come to examine the role of the batting coach in the Indian team. Why have major technical issues with some Indian batsmen remained unresolved for so long?

Shreyas Iyer became the captain, Suryakumar Yadav will be seen with Shivam Dubey, Prithvi Shaw did not get a chance.

Former Indian team selector Devang Gandhi was seen defending the current coaches. he/she said, “It is very easy to target Nair and Gautam but it has not been long since they became part of the team. At the age of 36, Virat cannot be told how to play. It is about mental development. You can give suggestions to players like Tendulkar and Kohli but coaching at this level is not easy.”

Now it remains to be seen how head coach Gautam Gambhir and his/her assistant Abhishek Nair find a solution to Team India’s poor performance. Nair is also known as Mind Coach in Mumbai cricket world. Under the coaching of Gautam Gambhir, India had to face 0-3 defeat in the Test series against New Zealand.
