IND vs AUS: After Perth, batsmen surrendered in Adelaide too, 200 runs were lost, Starc made a record

New Delhi. India has had a very bad start in the Pink Ball Test. Australia bowled out India for 180 runs in the second test match being played in Adelaide. Perth Test centurion Yashasvi Jaiswal could not even open his/her account in Adelaide. Captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli together scored 10 runs. KL Rahul and Shubman Gill lost wickets after a good start. As a result, the Indian team came under pressure on the very first day of the second test and could not recover from it till the end. Earlier, the Indian team was restricted to 150 runs in the first innings of the Perth Test.

The second test match between India and Australia started on Friday. After winning the toss, the Indian team came to bat first and lost a wicket on the very first ball. Yashasvi Jaiswal was LBW by Mitchell Starc on the very first ball. The second openers KL Rahul and Shubman Gill took over the innings after this. Both made a partnership of 69 runs. Just when it seemed that India was moving towards a good score, there was a fall of wickets.

KL Rahul (37) was the second batsman of India to be dismissed. he/she was caught by McSweeney on Starc’s ball. Virat Kohli, who came at number four, went on after scoring 7 runs. Mitchell Starc also sent him/her to the pavilion. Kohli was caught by Steve Smith on the ball of this left-arm pacer. Within a short time, Shubman Gill also started walking on the ball of Scott Boland.

After the first session i.e. dinner break, India’s score was 82 runs for 4 wickets. Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant took charge in the second session. But this pair did not stay at the crease for long. After Shubman, Scott Boland also made Rohit Sharma his/her victim. Rohit also got LBW. After some time, Rishabh Pant was also caught by Labuschagne. When Pant was out, India’s score was 109 runs.

Nitish took charge
Nitish Kumar Reddy took charge in times of crisis. he/she scored the maximum 41 runs for India. Nitish, along with Ravichandran Ashwin, took the team to the first 141 runs. India lost two wickets on this score. After Ashwin, Harshit Rana (0) was also out. After this, Nitish made a counter attack and took India to 180 runs. he/she hit 2 sixes off the ball of Scott Boland in his/her innings. Nitish also hit a six over longoff on the ball of Mitchell Starc, who took the maximum 6 wickets in the match.
