According to Wabetainfo, WhatsApp is developing a new option for the disappearing messages feature. Earlier messages could stay in the chat window for up to seven days. However, in the new beta update, it was seen that WhatsApp is adding an option to extend the message expiry limit to 90 days. In such a situation, you can expect the disappearing message to remain in the chat box for 90 days in the coming few days.

According to Wabetainfo, ‘WhatsApp was developing a new option to automatically disappear the message, which can automatically delete the message after 24 hours. This option has been seen in the 2.21.9.6 Android beta update and is currently under development.
