IMCAA Awards 2024: Anup Pandey won the ‘Journalist of the Year’ trophy, see the full list of winners

New Delhi: The winners of the Indian Institute of Mass Communication Alumni Association (IIMCAA) Awards 2024 were announced and felicitated at a glittering ceremony in Delhi on Sunday. The winners were selected by an eminent jury of IIMCAA. Anup Pandey won the prestigious ‘Journalist of the Year’ title with a cash prize of Rs 1.5 lakh, while Shagun Kapil won the ‘Agriculture Reporter of the Year’ award and took home a prize of Rs 1 lakh. Other winners were awarded cash prizes of Rs 50,000 along with trophies and certificates. Rajat Mishra got the winning award in ‘Publication Reporting’, Abhinav Goyal in ‘Broadcast Reporting’, Surabhi Singh in ‘Producer’, Muhammad Sabit U M in ‘Publication Reporting in Indian Languages’, Shatarupa Samantray in ‘Broadcast Reporting in Indian Languages’, Saransh Jain in ‘Advertising’, Shilpi A Singh in ‘PR’, Ofactor in ‘Ad Agency’ and Kaizen in ‘PR Agency’ category.

IIMCAA President Simrat Gulati presided over the function while Executive President Gayatri Srivastava hosted the award ceremony. Awards Auditor Unni Rajan Shankar, Convener Vineet Handa, Coordinator Pooja Mishra and General Secretary Diksha Saxena released a souvenir featuring the profiles and works of the award winners.
