IMA’s new study told how long and what exercise should be done to live a long life.

Apart from this, it has also been told in the study what effect different types of exercises have on our health.

AMA study states that we should do moderate exercise for at least 150 to 300 minutes a week or vigorous exercise for 75 to 150 minutes. This reduces the risk of death. Moderate exercise like brisk walking, cycling or dancing is done. Vigorous exercise like running, swimming or playing vigorous sports is done.

The study found that people who got 300 to 599 minutes of moderate exercise a week reduced their risk of death from any cause by 26% to 31% and their risk of death from heart disease by 28%.
