Iltija Mufti surrounded after her statement on Hindutva, BJP imposed class fiercely

New Delhi: PDP leader and Mehbooba Mufti’s daughter Iltija’s statement on Hindutva has put her in trouble. The country’s politics heated up again due to his/her recent statement. Bharatiya Janata Party has accused Mehbooba Mufti’s daughter of creating division in the society. At the same time, Congress has advocated mutual respect between religions. PDP leader Iltija Mufti said Ram Devta should bow his/her head in shame and watch helplessly how minor Muslim boys are being beaten with slippers just because they refuse to take his/her name. Hindutva is a disease that has affected millions of Indians and tarnished the name of God. Iltija Mufti had made this statement after the video of three minor Muslim boys being forced to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’ in Madhya Pradesh went viral on social media.

BJP expressed strong objection
Responding to Iltija Mufti’s remarks, senior BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi described Hindutva as an integral part of India’s culture and heritage. Naqvi said that there is a need to once again give the message about Sanatan culture to those who are unaware of India’s culture and heritage. Hindutva gives the message of moving forward with inclusive thinking by taking all sections of the society along. he/she said that there is no need to give any knowledge about this. Some people have developed phobia of Hindutva and people with such phobia should read about it once.

What was the answer of Congress?
West Bengal BJP leader Agnimitra Pal also criticized Iltija Mufti and alleged that she and her mother, former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, have continued to speak against India. Pal said that Mehbooba Mufti and her daughter always speak against India. Recently Mehbooba Mufti compared Gaza and Bangladesh with India and now Iltija Mufti is comparing Islam with Hinduism. This is an insult to both religions. Pal accused the Mufti family of spreading hatred in the area.

Responding to the BJP, Congress leader Rashid Alvi reacted in a more diplomatic manner and urged respect for all religions. She said that Iltija Mufti has praised Hinduism and as a youth leader and granddaughter of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed, we all should respect each other’s beliefs. On Saturday, Iltija Mufti had taken to Twitter to condemn the incident in Ratlam, where a 16-year-old boy attacked three minors with slippers. The teen also insulted her verbally and she was forced to chant ‘Jai Shri Ram’.
