Her 62-year-old father Anil Mehta died. he/she committed suicide by jumping from the sixth floor of Ayesha Manor building in Bandra. Police is investigating the matter. After conducting the post-mortem, the body was handed over to the family. On Thursday, his/her body was immersed in the five elements. From Arbaaz Khan, his/her wife Shura, Arjun Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan to Karisma Kapoor, every eye became moist. Malaika Arora was seen outside the building with her mother Joyce Polycarp and son Arhaan Khan. With moist eyes, she left for Santacruz crematorium to bid a final farewell to her father. Her mother was in a bad state due to crying. Son Arhaan was seen taking care of mother Malaika and grandmother in this difficult time.

Malaika Arora’s mother told the police in her statement that he/she was reading the newspaper sitting in the balcony as usual. She saw her husband’s slippers in the living room. When she went to the balcony, Anil was not seen. When she looked down from the balcony, the guard was calling for help. Police say that no suicide note has been recovered from the house or near the dead body.
