Admission In IIT Without JEE: Who does not dream of studying in the country’s best institute IIT, but to study here it is necessary to pass JEE (Joint Entrance Exam), one of the toughest exams in the country. UCEED – Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design
Students preparing for graduation who have interest in design can adopt this path. But understand what is its process – first of all you have to pass 12th class, then fill the exam form of UCEED. ((

  • The entrance exam is divided into two parts which include Design, Drawing, Reasoning and Language.
  • Those preparing for post graduation have to appear for CEED (Common Entrance Exam for Design).

HSEE- Humanity and Social Science Entrance Exam
IIT offers a five-year Antigrate MA (Master of Arts) program in the field of Humanities and Social Sciences. Here too admission is available only with the help of entrance exam. Here in the first two years there is only one syllabus for all. After this everyone is divided into 2 different streams. These divisions are done on the basis of their performance in the initial semester and the availability of seats.

IIT JAM – Joint Admission Test
This is also an important exam for admission in IIT and IISc Bangalore. Through this exam one can get admission in Post Graduation (Masters). MSc, Masters in Economics, MSc-PhD, MSc-PhD can take admission in dual degree as well as other post graduate programs.

GATE- Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering
Those who miss admission to IITs during graduation also have a chance to do masters from IITs. If you crack this exam, then you get a golden opportunity to do M.Tech from IIT. Not only this, if you pass these exams, you are also able to apply for M.Tech as well as get jobs in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). GATE also has a separate paper for subjects based on specialization. Humanities students can also apply for this.

CAT- Common Admission Test
Not everyone goes to IIT to do engineering, so institutes have also started doing MBA from the business point of view. IIMs are responsible for conducting CAT. With the help of this scorecard, you can also do MBA from IIT. Each IIT has its own rules and criteria for admission to management school. Usually those who clear CAT are shortlisted for interview and further rounds.

UGC-NET- National Eligibility Test
This research is an important part of studies in IITs. Those interested in this have to clear the UGC-NET exam. After this, you can propose to do research with a related professor. This exam is conducted in two parts- Paper 1 consists of questions related to Teaching Aptitude, Reasoning, Mathematics. The second paper is of specialization subject like Commerce, Psychology, Hindi, Mass Communication.
