New Delhi. West Indies defeated Bangladesh by 4 wickets in the third and last ODI match. With this, host West Indies whitewashed Bangladesh 3-0 in the 3-match series. Aamir Jangu emerged as the hero in this victory of West Indies. Jangu showed courage and scored a century in his/her debut match. On the basis of the brilliant innings of this talented batsman, West Indies won the target of 322 runs by 4 wickets with 25 balls remaining. Jangu scored unbeaten 103 runs on 83 balls which included 6 fours and 4 sixes. Hardly anyone knew about Jangu before this match, but after scoring the match-winning century, Jangu has become an overnight star in world cricket.

Amir Jangoo has become the second West Indies cricketer to score a century in debut ODI. Earlier, the legendary Desmond Haynes had scored a century in his/her debut match in the year 1978. After 46 years, Jangu has repeated that feat. he/she scored runs at a strike rate of 125.30. While chasing the target of 322 runs set by Bangladesh, the West Indies team was in trouble after losing three big wickets at the score of 31 runs. After this, Jangu along with KC Carty took the innings forward. Both the batsmen made a partnership of 132 runs for the 5th wicket. After this, Jangu along with Gudakesh Moti made an unbroken partnership of 91 runs for the 7th wicket and gave the team a great victory.

Aamir Jangi was given the Player of the Match award
Left-handed batsman Aamir Jangu was adjudged player of the match for his/her brilliant performance. After the match, Jangu said that when he/she was batting with Carty, he/she told Jangu to enjoy his/her debut and he/she Play natural games.
