DMRC has started a special campaign against the entry of male passengers in women’s coaches. Now 10 flying squads have been deployed for women’s safety. They will keep a strict vigil on women’s coaches in Delhi Metro. The 10 flying squads will also include DMRC personnel of Central Industrial Security Force and Delhi Metro Rail Police officers. They will keep an eye on the safety of women in Delhi Metro throughout the day.

If any male passenger is seen going or travelling in the bus, he/she will be stopped and fined. This campaign was started on 28th. On the first day of the campaign, many male passengers were seen travelling in the women’s coach of Delhi Metro. After which the flying squad took action against 140 men. In this, about 108 men were let off after giving them a last chance. At the same time, 32 men had to pay a fine of 250 rupees.
