Opener Smriti Mandhana was out on the score of 18. Mandhana was caught by Sadia Iqbal at the hands of Tuba Hasan for 7 runs. After this Shefali Verma and Jemimah Rodrigues took over the innings. India had scored 50 runs for one wicket in 10 overs. Shefali was out after scoring 32 runs in 35 balls. Jemimah Rodrigues returned to the pavilion after scoring 28 runs on 23 balls. Pakistan team collapsed for 105 runs
Earlier in the match played in Dubai, India bowled tightly and restricted Pakistan to 105 runs for 8 wickets. Shreyanka Patil and Arundhati Reddy bowled economically for India. Arundhati gave her best performance in T20 International by taking three wickets for 19 runs in 4 overs. Shreyanka took two wickets for 12 runs in four overs. Whereas Renuka Singh, Deepti Sharma and Sobhana Asha got one success each. Experienced Nida Dar made the maximum contribution of 28 runs for Pakistan. The former captain hit one four in his/her 34-ball innings. Opener Muniba Ali scored 17 runs in 26 balls with the help of two fours while lower order Syeda Arub Shah scored unbeaten 14 runs in 17 balls.

Pakistan captain Fatima Sana took an aggressive approach against Asha in the next over and hit two consecutive fours but in the third attempt the ball took the upper edge of her bat and Richa took a brilliant catch behind the wicket, ending her aggressive innings of 13 runs in eight balls. Finished off. Shreyanka showed Tuba Hasan the way to the pavilion without opening the account. Meanwhile, Syeda hit a four against Deepti. Arundhati bowled Nida in the 20th over but Nashra Sandhu scored unbeaten six runs with the help of a four on the last two balls and took the team’s score beyond 100.
