If the government had paid attention to this waterfall in Jharkhand, the scene here would have been different today

Malni/Malin, located in the border area of Khaira and Sikandra blocks in the Giddheshwar forest, 40 km from the district headquarters, is a topic of uproar in itself. Today our team reached this waterfall with the help of SSB and local villagers. Once the terror of Naxalites used to be at its peak in this area, due to which even the people around the forest used to shy away from going here. But due to the anti-Naxal operation by the Sashastra Seema Bal and Central Reserve Police Force, there is peace and tranquility here today. Now the people around are living their lives without any fear and brotherhood.

Nature around the waterfall

This waterfall is situated between five mountains and its gurgling sound creates a strange noise in the entire forest and the surrounding area. Nature has decorated it in a very well-arranged manner. The scene around it is very picturesque and captivating. There is a big pond near this waterfall, in which the water coming out of the waterfall falls and collects and then goes to another place. Many streams also emerge from it, whose water crosses the forest area and reaches the nearby villages.

Rocky path to reach the waterfall
Its water is used by the people living nearby for drinking, bathing and irrigation. The path to reach the waterfall is very rocky and surrounded by dense bushes. Due to which it is difficult for outsiders to reach here at present. If the tourism department, district administration or public representatives pay proper attention to its development, then it can become a very developed tourist destination in the future.

To get recognition, it will have to be developed

waterfall

Local residents Surendra Manjhi, Jagdish Besra, Solanki Soren, Vinay Khairwar, Salakan Hansda said that this waterfall and the area around it are very beautiful. If the government wants to recognize it as a tourist destination, then first of all it will have to arrange a smooth route to reach this waterfall. Local and far-flung people can also reach here without any problem.

The environment has changed due to the elimination of Naxalites

Inspector Ramesh Kumar Gurjar of the Border Security Force said that peace has been restored after a lot of efforts by the security forces and the police. This waterfall is indeed very beautiful and charming. Now only a few people come here, earlier this area was completely deserted.
