But now director Guddu Dhanoa has revealed that ‘Big Brother’ was going to be Priyanka Chopra’s first film. he/she had worked with Priyanka in films like ‘Big Brother’ and ‘Kismat’. According to Guddu Dhanoa, Priyanka Chopra did not know much about acting, and so she used to request him/her to explain to her how to do the scene. At that time, the shooting of ‘Big Brother’ was going on in Hyderabad. This was in the year 2002-2003.

Guddu Dhanoa told Bollywood Hungama, “She used to say please explain to me how to do this. This means that she has a hunger to learn. She always had it and she wanted to do it. She wanted to do it very well and she also had good looks.”

But after 15-20 days of shooting of the film, Guddu Dhanoa and the team started hearing negative things about Priyanka Chopra from Mumbai. he/she said, ‘When we shot for 15-20 days, we started getting reports from Mumbai that she looks very bad. She is a very bad actor, please see the rushes. So, I said okay, we will see. But despite this negativity, Sunny Deol stood with Priyanka Chopra like a shield.’

Sunny Deol was not only the hero of ‘Big Brother’, but was also the producer of this film. Guddu Dhanoa further said, ‘We saw the rushes, whatever we had shot there, whatever we had shot, and after seeing the rushes, Sunny Deol and I, both of us decided that we will work with this girl and complete the film with this girl only. And I think we liked her. I mean we liked her screen presence. We thought that she will grow and progress, and we were right.’
