If a family had taken lakhs of loans, some sold land, jewelry and cattle. Smiles of Jagraon in Ludhiana and Rohit Sharma of Jind district of Haryana said that they had sent their children to UK in January last year.

Relatives of others like Akashdeep Singh of Rajatal in Amritsar, Akash Rana of Panipat and Harvinder Singh of Hoshiarpur said that they had given lakhs of rupees to travel agents to go to America by ‘illegal’.

Muskan’s father had taken a loan of 18 lakhs from the bank for his/her daughter’s studies abroad
Jagdish Kumar, father of Muskan, who runs a dhaba, said that he/she had taken a bank loan of Rs 18 lakh for his/her daughter’s studies abroad. Muskan and his/her friends were arrested by the California Police near Tijuana, Mexico on 25 January.

Muskan told the Economic Times, ‘The American police was good with us, they kept us in a camp and gave us food. Three days ago, when they took us on the bus, we thought that we were being taken to another camp or they would release us. We were very shocked to know that we are being sent back to India.

Handcare not opened to go to the washroom
When Muskan started listening to his/her flight, his/her father took the phone from him/her. Kumar said, ‘Everyone except children was handcuffed. he/she told me that if someone had to go to the washroom, he/she had to raise his/her hand and the US Army soldier used to take them without handcuffs. ‘

Now Kumar wants the government to come forward to complete smile. he/she said, “There are still two years left in his/her course and he/she has a valid UK visa.”

Graduate in Hotel Management, 35 -year -old Sukhpal went to Italy on a work permit in search of a job in October. Her father Prempal said that the family shocked to know that Sukhpal was sent back from America on Wednesday, as she felt that she was working in Italy.

Harvinder Singh’s family spent 42 lakhs to send America
Kuljinder Kaur, wife of Harvinder Singh, said that the family spent Rs 42 lakh to take Singh to America. Kaur, a mother of two children, said that she knew nothing about her husband’s hideout from 15 January when she had illegally entered the US. he/she said, ‘I came to know about his/her departure yesterday. I will appeal to the government to take strict action against travel agents.

Akash Rana’s family took a loan of 73 lakhs
Akash Rana, who started his/her illegal journey for the US in April last year, finally entered the country after a difficult journey on 26 January, but was sent back to India. his/her family spent 73 lakh rupees including debt. his/her brother Shubham Rana said, ‘I got a call from my brother last evening that I should come to take him/her at Gharaunda bus stand. ‘Everything is over’ – he/she told me this on the phone. ‘
