New Delhi: Just a day ago, Uttar Pradesh CM and veteran BJP leader Yogi Adityanath made a big claim about Pakistan. he/she said that Pakistan will soon be divided into three parts. his/her statement came at a time when Pakistan PM Shahbaz Sharif was afraid of an attack on himself. They are frightened by India’s growing military capability. he/she said this in the meeting of the United Nations General Assembly. There was an uproar over this issue, meanwhile the Defense Minister Rajnath Singh Has made important comments. he/she said that if Pakistan had friendly relations then India would have given it a big relief package.

Rajnath scolded Pakistan

Addressing an election rally in Jammu and Kashmir, Rajnath Singh said that if the neighboring country had maintained friendly relations with India, India would have given a bigger relief package to Pakistan than the one sought from the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The Union Defense Minister was addressing an election rally in Gurez assembly constituency of Bandipora district. During this, he/she mentioned the Prime Minister’s Development Package announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Jammu and Kashmir in 2014-15.

‘We can change friends, but not our neighbours’

Veteran BJP leader Rajnath Singh said that PM Modi had announced a special package for the development of Jammu and Kashmir in 2014-15. It has now reached Rs 90,000 crore. This package is much more than the amount sought by Pakistan from IMF (as a relief package). Rajnath referred to former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s famous comment that we can change friends, but cannot change neighbours.

‘If we had good relations…’

Rajnath Singh said that my Pakistani friends, why are there tense relations between us, we are neighbours. If we had good relations, we would have given more money to the IMF. he/she further said that the Center gives funds to Jammu and Kashmir for development while Pakistan has been misusing the financial assistance for a long time. he/she asks for money from other countries to run a terrorism factory on his/her soil.

‘Pakistan used terrorism as a weapon’

The Defense Minister said that when Vajpayee’s dream of restoring humanity, democracy and Kashmiriyat in the valley will be realized, Kashmir will again become heaven on earth. Rajnath Singh said that Pakistan, which has been using terrorism as a weapon against India, has become isolated at international forums. Some of his/her trusted allies have also backed down. he/she said that whenever we have investigated terrorism, we have only found Pakistan’s involvement.

Pakistan disappointed due to removal of Article 370- Rajnath

Rajnath Singh said that our governments have tried to convince Pakistan that they should close terrorist camps, but to no avail. After the removal of Article 370, Pakistan is desperate and is trying to revive terrorism. They do not want the roots of democracy to become strong here. However, India is so strong that it can compete with Pakistan on its soil. If someone from Pakistan attacks India, we can respond by crossing the border.

Rajnath spoke during election rally in Jammu and Kashmir

The veteran BJP leader said that even Turkiye, who supported Pakistan, did not mention Kashmir in the UN General Assembly. Ever since his/her party’s government came to power at the Centre, peace has returned to Jammu and Kashmir. he/she further said that the business of terrorism is not going to last much longer. Reiterating the promises made in the BJP’s election manifesto, he/she said that as the Defense Minister, I assure you that if BJP candidate Faqir Mohammad Khan wins, more people from Gurez will be recruited into the Indian Army.

Rajnath Singh said the biggest demand of Gurez is the construction of a tunnel through Razdan Pass, which will provide all-weather connectivity with the rest of the country. he/she said that now 24×7 electricity is being supplied in the area and internet towers have been installed. The roads are already good and will be further improved. As the Defense Minister of the country, I assure you that after the elections I will bring the concerned minister here to discuss this issue.
