If justice was done to us then… What did Bajrang Punia say on the beginning of his/her political journey, raised questions on Brij Bhushan

New Delhi: Two wrestlers of the country have entered politics from Haryana assembly elections. Bajrang Punia and Vinesh Phogat started their political journey by joining hands with Congress on Friday. After joining Congress, Bajrang Punia told Aaj Tak today during a conversation why he/she came into politics and why he/she joined hands with Congress. Along with this, he/she has also raised questions on Brij Bhushan Sharan.

Question raised on Brij Bhushan Sharan being a patriot

After joining Congress, Bajrang Punia said that how are those who celebrated when Vinesh was disqualified a patriot? That medal was not just Vinesh’s, it was for 140 crore Indians of the country. In such a situation, Brij Bhushan Sharan’s celebration on this shows his/her mentality. We have been fighting for the country since childhood and they are teaching us patriotism.

Brij Bhushan Sharan committed a crime by taking the name of Vinesh

Bajrang Punia also targeted Brij Bhushan Sharan on the molestation case and said that we never took the name of any wrestler who was molested, but he/she has committed a crime by taking Vinesh’s name. he/she also targeted the BJP and said that Brij Bhushan Sharan is committing a crime by taking Vinesh’s name because the Bharatiya Janata Party is supporting him/her. After that Bajrang Punia said that if girls had the courage to slap, then who knows how many slaps you would have received till now.

Why Bajrang Punia and Vinesh joined Congress

On joining Congress, Bajrang Punia said that when we were in trouble, it was Congress who supported us. That is why we have forgotten Congress today. When we were fighting against Brij Bhushan, we wrote many letters to the government but no one came from BJP. In such a situation, Rahul Gandhi is raising voice for all the issues including farmers, so we also joined him/her.

If PM Modi had called during the protest then

Bajrang Punia said that agencies were used against me. he/she said that if PM Modi had called during the protest, the matter would have ended at that time itself and we would not have come into politics today. However, we were struggling even before. If there was justice with us, we would have been playing. This is our compulsion.
