ICC Test Ranking: Jasprit Bumrah equals Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja remains at number one

New Delhi. Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah equaled the Indian record of spinner Ravichandran Ashwin by increasing his/her rating point to 904 in the International Cricket Council (ICC) bowlers’ rankings. Bumrah took nine wickets for 94 runs in the third Test match played against Australia in Brisbane, which gave him/her 14 rating points. Bumrah is at first place in the latest ICC Test rankings.

With this, he/she not only equaled Ashwin’s record but also strengthened his/her position at the top in the ranking of bowlers. Bumrah will now have a chance to surpass Ashwin and create a new Indian record by performing well in the fourth Test match against Australia starting on Thursday (26 December). Ashwin achieved this feat in December 2016. This off-spinner had recently retired from international cricket.

Rabada and Hazlewood in the list
South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada (856) and Australia’s Josh Hazlewood (852) are at second and third place respectively after the Indian bowler. Australian batsman Travis Head, who has performed brilliantly in the current series against India, has reached fourth place in the Test rankings for batsmen. he/she has 825 rating points. Which routes are in first place.

Jadeja remains at number one
Travis Head is currently behind England’s Joe Root (895) and Harry Brook (876) and former New Zealand captain Kane Williamson (867). India’s Ravindra Jadeja continues to top the all-rounder list with 424 rating points. Whereas Australia captain Pat Cummins has made it to the top 10 thanks to his/her four wickets and 42 runs in the third Test at Gabba.
