ICC Rankings: Virat Kohli fell with a bang, for the first time in 10 years… Rohit Sharma’s condition also worsened.

New Delhi. After losing the Test series to New Zealand, India has suffered a big setback in the ICC team rankings and players rankings. ICC has released the players ranking after the team ranking, in which Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have suffered a big loss. Virat Kohli has been out of the top-20 for the first time in 10 years. Among Indian batsmen, Rishabh Pant has gained 5 places and has entered the top-10.

Virat Kohli has lost 8 places in the ICC Test rankings. he/she has slipped to number 22 in the latest rankings. This is Virat Kohli’s worst ranking since December 2014. Kohli had scored 93 runs in the 3-match series against New Zealand. It included only one half-century.

Like Virat Kohli, Indian captain Rohit Sharma also had a very poor performance against New Zealand. Rohit could score less runs than Virat. Only 91 runs came from his/her bat in 6 innings. Only these two batsmen are included in the top-10. Shubhman Gill is at number 16.

Iyer has scored two consecutive centuries in Ranji Trophy. In the latest ICC rankings, KL Rahul and Axar Patel are jointly at number 62.

India’s dominance continues in the ranking of bowlers. Jasprit Bumrah is at first and Ravichandran Ashwin is at second. Ravindra Jadeja has also come at number six. Washington Sundar, who performed well against New Zealand, has jumped 7 places to 46th position among Test bowlers.
