New Delhi. The International Cricket Council has released the Best ODI of the year of 2024. There is not a single player of the Indian team in this. The shocking thing is that not a single player of Australia and England team is in the list. Four Sri Lankan players and three-three cricketers from Afghanistan and Pakistan managed to make it to the ICC Mains ODI Team of the Year 2024.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) released this list on Friday 24 January. Sam Ayub, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Haris Rauf made it to Pakistan’s team. While Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Ajmatullah Omrajai and Allah Gajanfar from Afghanistan also made a place in the team. Four players from Sri Lanka are Pathum Nisanka, Kusal Mendis, Charit Asanka and Vanindu Hasranga and Sherfen Rutherford from West Indies also made it to the ICC ODI Team of the Year 2024.

Actuals captained Sri Lanka in the historic series win against India in August 2024. he/she has been made the captain of the ICC ODI Team of the Year 2024. Sri Lanka’s Kusal Mendis, scoring 742 runs in 17 matches, topped the list of batsmen scoring the most runs in 2024. he/she is also in the list. India played only three ODIs in 2024, due to which no Indian player could make it to the ICC ODI Team of the Year 2024. Apart from India, there are no representatives of Australia, South Africa, England and New Zealand.
