‘I will work with those who bring out my true potential’, Zarine took the name of Oscar winner maker

Bollywood actress Zarine Khan made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan’s film ‘Veer’. She wants to work with some filmmakers in the industry, including Oscar winner Guneet Monga. The actress said that Guneet Monga’s work has creativity and social message.

When Zarine was asked which filmmaker she would like to work with, she immediately named Guneet Monga. Praising Guneet Monga, she said, ‘Guneet’s passion for storytelling is really inspiring. Her creativity in bringing stories to the screen is really commendable.’

Zarine called Monga a leading personality in the world of filmmaking. She said, ‘Whether it is Kathal, Pagglait, Masaan, the documentary The Elephant Whisperers or the recently released film Kill, his/her work inspires creativity and society, which has established him/her as a leader in the world of filmmaking.’

‘We need shows like Panchayat’

Earlier, while praising the web series ‘Panchayat 3’, Zareen had expressed her desire to work in such stories and play characters. Zareen had said, ‘A show like Panchayat is very different from the thriller and action genre dominating the OTT space. We need more such shows.’

‘The one that brings out my true potential’

The actress said, ‘I would like to be a part of a world that brings out my true potential. This is something I really want to do.’

Worked in ‘Ready’ to ‘Housefull 2’

Zarine made her Bollywood debut in 2010 with Salman Khan’s film ‘Veer’. After this, she appeared in the popular track ‘Character Dheela’ from Salman Khan starrer ‘Ready’ in 2011. She also worked in ‘Housefull 2’. Zarine has worked in Hindi, Punjabi, Telugu and Tamil industries. She made her debut in Tamil cinema with the song ‘Malgov’ from ‘Naan Rajavaga Pogiren’.

Returned to Hindi cinema with 2015’s ‘Hate Story 3’

In 2014, she acted in the Punjabi film ‘Jatt James Bond’ and returned to Hindi cinema with 2015’s ‘Hate Story 3’. Zarine was earlier seen in ‘Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele’ directed by Harish Vyas. The film also stars Anshuman Jha, Ravi Khanvilkar, Gurfateh Pirzada and Nitin Sharma in important roles.
