‘I Want to Talk’ Movie Review

Director Shoojit Sircar has his/her own way of telling the story. They lead to fearful thoughts of the transience of life and fill a void within you. When your pain begins to deepen, the hero’s will to live works as a balm. They do not glorify Arjun Sen’s 20 surgeries with melodrama, but make them a routine of life. Instead of drowning in Arjun’s pain, the audience starts swimming in it.

Shoojit, who has given excellent films like ‘October’ and ‘Piku’, is seen unraveling the knot of human relationships here too. The scenes between father and daughter have become memorable. The first half of the film may seem a little slow to you, but in the second part the film moves at a gallop. Shoojit has made good use of montage in the hospital scenes. They have managed to squeeze in a lot of light-hearted moments through patient Abhishek’s relationship with the doctor (Jayant Kripalani).

As per the title of the film, the dialogues in the story are also cheeky. Good work has also been done on Abhishek’s prosthetic makeup. Yes, if the back story of Abhishek’s divorced wife was shown, the story would have got more strength.

As an actor, this role must have been very challenging for Abhishek Bachchan, because he/she has to live the life of a survivor who can go into the lap of death at any moment, but he/she does not have to mourn death, but celebrates life. Is. We have to admit, Abhishek has done wonders in this role. he/she has assimilated every layer of the character, be it his/her fighting spirit as a patient or the father cultivating his/her relationship with his/her daughter. his/her physical transformation makes the character stronger.

Be it the child artiste in the role of Arjun Sen’s daughter or Ahilya Bamru in the role of the young daughter, both have done amazing work. Jayant Kripalani provides a lot of fun in the role of a doctor. Johnny Lever provides moments of relief in his/her small role. Christine Goodard is memorable in the role of Nurse Nancy.
