Manoj Baipayee played the role of Preity’s fiance in superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta’s superhit romantic film ‘Veer Zara’. Although Manoj’s character of Raza Sharji was very small in the film, but that role means a lot for Manoj. In a recent interview given to Human of Bombay, Manoj Bypayee has told that ‘Yash Chopra had cast him/her in Veer Zara. We have grown up watching his/her films. In such a situation, it was a matter of great pride for me to work with him/her.

Yash ji was very impressed after seeing my acting in the film Pinjar. But I liked his/her clear way of talking. he/she told me that I don’t make films for actors like you, because you are a wonderful artist of a different genre. But I hope that I will have something else in the future and I hope that you will agree to work in it. he/she was a very humble person.

Both of us did not meet everyday, because both do films of different genres.
