I could not succeed… What did Rohit Sharma say about Dravid?

New Delhi. Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma has made a revelation about head coach Rahul Dravid. Rohit says that he/she tried to convince Dravid to continue as the head coach, but he/she was not successful. Rohit Sharma said this on the eve of his/her first match of the T20 World Cup 2024 against Ireland. India and Ireland teams will clash in the 8th match of the World Cup on Wednesday. This match will be played from 8:00 pm Indian time. Both the teams have clashed once in the T20 World Cup 15 years ago.

Rohit Sharma told in a press conference on Tuesday how he/she tried to stop Rahul Dravid. According to Rohit, ‘I tried to convince him/her to remain as coach, but he/she was not ready. Dravid was my first international captain. he/she is a great role model. I cannot see him/her leaving Team India.’ Dravid confirmed on Monday that he/she will not take an extension as India’s head coach.
