When flight EI738 made an emergency landing, it was found that during the fight, the woman’s face was injured. The woman was treated and her partner was arrested. After a delay of two hours, the flight took off again and reached Palma de Mallorca Airport at 1:05 pm. However, passengers on board the plane have expressed their displeasure over this incident. Some said that such disturbances not only cause unnecessary delays but also raise security concerns. Many passengers have also shared their experiences on social media.

Know how many types of emergency landings are there

There are three types of emergency landings in all the flights flying in the country and the world. First, forced landing, second precautionary landing, third ditching landing. If the engine of the flight fails in any situation, then it is called forced landing. Precautionary landing happens when there is a lack of fuel in the flight, bad weather, or if someone is unwell. Whereas if the flight is landed on a water surface, then it is called ditching landing.

Can an emergency landing be refused?

According to the official of Defense and Security Analyst Wing Commander, no country refuses any emergency landing. If the lives of passengers in the flight are in danger, then as per the rules, no country will refuse emergency landing. If the flight is flying over a country and has got permission to fly over it, then in such a situation the country allows emergency landing in case of emergency.

At the same time, if a flight is not entering the airspace of any country, but from the security point of view, that country is the nearest one for landing, then in this situation also permission for emergency landing can be sought.
