How to be happy in life? Harvard University is conducting ‘Happiness Course’, how to get admission

Happiness Course in America: The cases of stress and depression are increasing among people all over the world. Students are worried about their studies and career while working people are worried about their jobs and future. Due to all these reasons, the society has gradually started becoming stressed and has forgotten to be happy. People are troubled by the tension of their lives every moment. Keeping these things in mind, now a top university of America has decided that it will teach common people and students how to be happy.
In fact, an online course named ‘Managing Happiness’ has been started at America’s Harvard University, which is included in the Ivy League. The aim of this course is to teach people how they can live a happy life and fulfill their life objectives. Led by Harvard professor, social scientist, author, and former classical musician Arthur Brooks, the course draws on research on topics such as neuroscience, positive psychology, social science, and philosophy.

What will be taught in the Happiness Course?

The Managing Happiness course taught through Harvard University sheds light on the science behind happiness. In this, students will be taught about the meaning of happiness and its role in everyday life. Students will learn how genetic, social, and economic factors shape people’s happiness. Students are also going to learn to use the science of mind and body to manage emotions effectively.

Students will be required to create ‘Happiness Portfolios’ based on their goals. People will also be taught things like how the achievements achieved in a short time can be sustained for a long time and what needs to be done to remain happy along with work.

How and where to take admission?

Harvard University’s Happiness Course is online, for which you have to go to edX learning platform. There are two options for admission here, the first being the Verified Certificate track and the second being the Audit track. This course can be studied from any part of the world. The course will be over in six weeks and you will only need to study for 2 to 3 hours every week. This course is in English language and you can study as per your convenience.
