How much money will Rishabh Pant get out of Rs 27 crore, how much will go in tax?


New Delhi. Before the next season of the Indian Premier League, the franchise team spent a lot of money on the players in the mega auction. Rishabh Pant became the most expensive player in the history of the tournament. Lucknow Super Giants included him/her in their team with a bid of Rs 27 crore. This question must be arising in everyone’s mind that how much money will they get out of this Rs 27 crore. How much amount will Rishabh Pant have to pay as tax and what will be the loss if he/she gets injured during or before the tournament.

Indian cricket team’s star wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant has decided to leave the Delhi Capitals team in the new season. Since this decision, the bid for it in the mega auction was being discussed. A bid of up to Rs 30 crore was expected. This happened and the Lucknow team joined them by paying a hefty sum of Rs 27 crores. Now the question is whether all the money will belong to Pant or will he/she have to pay tax on it also. If yes then how much amount will they pay for it?

How much money will Rishabh Pant get?
Players were bid in the Indian Premier League 2025 auction and a three-year contract was signed with the team. The amount that the franchise team has bought the players with the bidding will have to be paid to them for one season. Lucknow bought Rishabh Pant for Rs 27 crore but they will not get all this money in one season. Out of this, the Government of India will collect Rs 8.1 crore as tax. he/she will get Rs 18.9 crore as salary from the IPL team.

what happens if you get injured
If Rishabh Pant gets injured during the IPL, he/she will get the full amount but if he/she gets injured before that and is unable to play in the tournament, then the franchise will have the right to include another player in the replacement team. If a player gets injured before the tournament, the foreign players do not get any money. If an Indian player gets injured while playing for Team India and is unable to play the IPL, then BCCI has insured him/her, hence he/she gets the money for the entire season.

You can get full money even without playing the match
If an Indian or foreign player is available to play the entire tournament with the IPL franchise team but does not get to play even 1 match. In such a situation, all the money that the team has bought for the player will be given without playing the match. If a player withdraws from the tournament due to personal reasons, then money will be given according to the number of matches played. Even if he/she gets injured in the middle of the tournament, the team will have to pay the full amount.
