How many SC/ST are there in Rajiv Gandhi Foundation… Finance Minister asked many questions at once on Rahul’s claim

New Delhi: While speaking on the budget, the most discussed things were about Chakravyuh and Halwa Ceremony. Rahul Gandhi had raised questions that there was no Dalit officer among those who prepared the budget. After his/her statement, it was discussed that the Finance Minister will definitely say something on this. While responding to the discussion on the budget on Tuesday, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman targeted Rahul Gandhi fiercely. She said that asking about the caste of the officers preparing the budget and the officers involved in the Halwa Ceremony is a conspiracy to divide the society into many sections. Along with this, she also asked how many SC-ST people have been employed in Rajiv Gandhi Foundation and Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust. On the Leader of Opposition’s attack on Halwa Ceremony, the Finance Minister asked that since when has it become a photo event.

They talk about reservation… Finance Minister takes aim
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman read a quote by Pandit Nehru about SC in Lok Sabha. In this, he/she had talked about opposing reservation. The Finance Minister said that the Mandal Commission report came during the Indira Gandhi government which was sidelined. This is the same Congress whose slogan was ‘Na Jaat Par Na Pat Par Muhurta Laghengi Haath Par’. And today, by showing photos, people are being asked about OBC, SC, ST. Nirmala Sitharaman mentioned an interview of Rajiv Gandhi in which he/she had said that no promotion to idiots in the name of reservation. The Finance Minister said that today they talk about reservation.

How many SC in Rajiv Gandhi Foundation?
The Finance Minister said that I want to know how many SCs are there in Rajiv Gandhi Foundation. There are nine people and none of them is SC. There are 5 people in the board of trustees of Rajiv Gandhi Charitable Trust and there is no SC there either. Rahul Gandhi, while participating in the discussion on the budget on Monday, had claimed that 20 officials have worked on preparing the country’s budget, but among them only one is a minority and one is an OBC (other backward class) and there is not a single Dalit or tribal among them.

Some lost their sons and some lost their fathers but still they did not come out
Sitharaman said that after the Halwa ceremony, the employees associated with it do not come out until the budget is released. Earlier they had to spend nine days and eight nights in isolation, but now they have to stay away from everyone for five nights and four days. They are able to come out only after the budget. This is necessary for the confidentiality of the budget. Referring to the challenges associated with the preparations of this budget, she said, Deputy Manager Kuldeep Sharma participated in the budget preparations despite the death of his/her father and did not come out. Similarly, Subhash did not come out even after the death of his/her son. Rahul Gandhi’s statement is an insult to such employees.
