‘How did it take the UK government a month to understand the law? Sanju Baba got angry when his/her visa was cancelled

Recently, a shocking news came that Sanjay Dutt was dropped from the film ‘Son of Sardar 2’. The reason given was that the British government has rejected his/her UK visa citing his/her jail sentence years ago. This Ajay Devgan starrer film is being shot in Scotland. Dutt has now strongly criticized the UK government for initially granting the visa and then cancelling it after a month.

Recently, the news came that Sanju Baba has been ousted from Ajay Devgan and Sanjay Dutt’s film ‘Son of Sardar 2’. The news also came that the makers have taken Ravi Kishan in his/her place. However, along with this, a recent update was also heard that when they return from Scotland and shoot this film in India, Sanjay can also join for a special role.

‘All I know is that the UK government did not do the right thing’

In an exclusive interview with Bombay Times, the actor said, “I know one thing that the UK government did not do the right thing. They gave me a visa (initially). All the payments were done there (in the UK), everything was ready. Then after a month you are cancelling my visa! I gave you (to the UK government) all the papers and everything (necessary details). You were not supposed to give me a visa, how did it take you a month to understand the law?”

‘The actor admitted that he/she hasn’t given up on the project’

Ravi Kishan was cast in place of Sanjay at the last moment. When asked about the possibility of him/her playing a special role in the film, he/she said- I don’t know about it. However, the actor admitted that he/she has not left the project.

‘Who’s going to the UK anyway? There’s too many riots over there’

The actor said, ‘Who is going to the UK anyway? There are so many riots happening there. Even the Indian government has issued a statement that you should not go to the UK. So, I am not missing anything. But yes, they have done wrong. They need to correct it. I am a law-abiding citizen, I follow the law and I respect the law of every country.’
