How did ‘If we are one, we are safe’ become the mega mantra in elections? PM Modi said after victory in Maharashtra elections

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has described the mandate received in Maharashtra as a victory for development, good governance and true social justice. Launching a strong attack on the opposition alliance including Congress, the PM said that today lies, deceit and deception have been badly defeated in Maharashtra. Divisive forces and negative politics have been defeated. Familyism has been defeated. Maharashtra has further strengthened the resolve for a developed India. PM Modi said that after Haryana, the biggest message of the historic victory in Maharashtra elections is unity. If one is there then one is safe, it has become a Mahamantra – Modi
PM Modi said in his/her address that if one is safe, this has become the great mantra of the country today. Maharashtra has broken all records, this is the biggest victory of any party or pre-poll alliance in the last 50 years. Maharashtra is the sixth state where BJP has won for the third consecutive time. The PM also said that some people tried to create instability in Maharashtra by resorting to treachery but the voters have punished them. The PM said that I was not born to sit comfortably. The day is not far when India will become the third largest economy in the world. The PM praised current Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Ajit Pawar and described Devendra Fadnavis as his/her best friend.

Now voters are not with ‘chair first’ but with the feeling of ‘nation first’
Attacking Congress, PM said that Indians are not able to understand the changed mood of the country. These people not only do not want to accept the truth, they even today underestimate the discretion of the common voter of India. The voters of the country are with the feeling of ‘Nation First’. The voters of the country do not like those who dream of ‘chair first’. Another message of Maharashtra’s mandate is that only one Constitution will prevail in the entire country.

Modi said that Baba Saheb Ambedkar, only the Constitution of India will run in the country. Whoever talks about two constitutions in the country in front or behind the scenes, the country will completely reject him/her. he/she said that Congress and its allies have again tried to build a wall of Article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir, which is an insult to the Constitution. Maharashtra clearly told them that this will not work. The PM warned Congress and its allies and said that now no power in the world can bring back Article 370.

Called Congress a parasitic party

The PM said that Congress has become a parasitic party, it is becoming difficult for it to form the government on its own. Congress sinks not only its own boat but also that of its allies. Today we have seen the same in Maharashtra. It is becoming difficult for Congress to form government on its own. In many states, the situation has been wiped out. The old divisive politics of Congress is failing. In their hunger for power, the Congress family has shattered the spirit of secularism of the Constitution. The makers of our Constitution had chosen the path of secularism while living the Hindu values and traditions even amidst the horrors of partition at that time (1947). But the Congress family destroyed that great tradition in the name of false secularism.

The seed of appeasement sown by Congress is a huge betrayal of the makers of the Constitution. he/she said that today the urban Naxalism of Congress has become a new challenge in front of India. The remote control of these urban Naxalites is outside the country and hence everyone has to be very careful about Urban Naxalism. he/she said that the ‘royal family’ of Congress is spreading the poison of casteism in the greed for power, the priority of the party is only the family, not the people of the country. A party whose priority is not the public is very harmful for democracy.

Waqf Board example of appeasement politics of Congress

The PM said that Congress made laws for appeasement, but did not even care about the Supreme Court, an example of which is the Waqf Board. Talking about Delhi, he/she said that in 2014, before leaving the government, Congress had handed over many properties around Delhi to the Waqf Board. There is no provision for Waqf law in the Constitution. For appeasement, Congress created a system like Waqf Board so that the vote bank of the Congress family could increase.

PM paid tribute to great men

The PM said that the results of Maharashtra show that the country now wants only development. he/she also pledged to work harder for the rapid development of Jharkhand. Referring to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Sahuji Maharaj, Mahatma Phule, Savitribai Phule, Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar, Veer Savarkar, Bala Saheb Thackeray, the PM said that the land of these great personalities broke all the old records this time. This is the biggest victory after fifty years. This is the third time in a row that Maharashtra has blessed an alliance led by BJP. This is the third consecutive time that BJP has emerged as the largest party in Maharashtra.

People have given more seats to BJP alone than Congress and its allies. This shows that when it comes to good governance, the country trusts only BJP and NDA. Maharashtra is the sixth state in the country which has given mandate to BJP for the third consecutive time. Elections will come and go, victory and defeat will continue in democracy, but the aim of BJP and NDA is not limited to just winning elections. We have set out to build the country, we have set out to build a developed India.

Maharashtra is growth engine
PM said that Maharashtra is an important growth engine for this country. The mandate given by the people of Maharashtra will become a huge foundation for a developed India. After Haryana, the biggest message of Maharashtra elections is unity. If there is one, then it is safe – this has become the great mantra of the country today. Congress got the opportunity to serve Marathi language for years but these people did nothing for it. But BJP and NDA governments gave Marathi the status of classical language.

Respect for mother tongue, respect for cultures and respect for history is in our culture and nature. Respect for mother tongue is respect for one’s mother. The PM said that he/she had told from the Red Fort that I want to bring one lakh such youth into politics, whose families have no connection with politics. Today voters have supported many such candidates of NDA and I consider it a very auspicious sign. We have to fulfill the dreams that the freedom fighters had seen for India.
