How did Congress get stuck on its promises? When Kharge gave advice, BJP also saw the opportunity and hit ‘four’.

New Delhi: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has pulled up his/her own government regarding the free scheme. The matter is related to Karnataka but in the meantime BJP also got the opportunity and seized Kharge’s statement. Before the Karnataka elections, many election promises were made by the Congress there and after the formation of the government, these schemes were started. Till now it was fine but now it is affecting the treasury of Karnataka government. Meanwhile, a statement from the state’s Deputy CM DK Shivkumar comes and the Congress President’s reaction on it has given BJP an opportunity to taunt the Congress.Review…that statement of Karnataka’s Deputy CM
Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar had said two days ago that the government would re-think about the ‘Shakti’ scheme as some women have expressed their willingness to pay for travel in government buses. Under this guarantee of the Congress government of the state, women are provided the facility of free bus travel. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on Thursday slammed Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister over his/her statement that the state government will review the ‘Shakti’ guarantee.

Don’t you read newspapers?

During the press conference in Bengaluru, Kharge said that considering your 5 guarantees, I have announced 5 guarantees in Maharashtra but you have said that one guarantee will be removed. On this Shivkumar said that no, I did not mean this. he/she said you don’t read newspapers. This has come in the newspapers. On this, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that we will review. Then after this the Congress President said that when you say review it opens the opportunity for criticism.

Such announcement should be avoided

Kharge said that in Maharashtra I have said that 5,10 or 20 guarantees should not be announced. Announcement should be made on the basis of budget. Otherwise there will be bankruptcy. If there is no money for roads then everyone will be against you. Kharge also said that whatever you (Shivkumar) have said has given them (BJP) a chance. BJP also targeted Congress without any delay and said that the leaders should apologize for taking votes by fooling the public.

This is how BJP targeted Congress
Former Union Minister and senior BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad, citing Kharge’s remarks, said on Friday that Congress has admitted for the first time that its election announcements are meant to throw dust in the eyes of the public. Ravi Shankar Prasad said that the Congress Party, through its President, has admitted for the first time that its election guarantee is just a matter of throwing dust in the eyes of the public. Referring to the election guarantees announced by the Congress in Telangana and Himachal Pradesh apart from Karnataka, he/she said, “By making announcements… in pure language, fooling the public and taking votes.” And subsequently the plan not getting off the ground. Just stay on paper only. This is not today’s history of Congress. Poverty eradication was announced in 1971. Has poverty gone? Announce it, no one is going to ask.
