How dare you, do you have any understanding or not… CJI Chandrachud got angry in the Supreme Court, reprimanded the lawyer.

New Delhi: Chief Justice DY Chandrachud reprimanded a lawyer in the Supreme Court. In the court, the lawyer had to face the displeasure of Chief Justice DY Chandrachud when he/she told that he/she had taken information about the court order from the Court Master. The Chief Justice issued a strong rebuke and said that lawyers should take care of the decorum of the court.

‘Do lawyers have any understanding or not?’

In fact, when a lawyer in the Supreme Court told that he/she had taken information about the order from the Court Master, Chief Justice Chandrachud got angry. he/she said, ‘How dare you ask the court master what order I gave in the court? Tomorrow you will come to my house and ask my personal secretary what I am doing? Do the lawyers have any understanding or not?

‘Don’t let this happen again’

The Chief Justice further said, ‘Don’t do these things again, I don’t have much time now.’ he/she also said that he/she is still the Chief Justice, albeit for a short period. Making this comment he/she said that he/she is retiring on November 10.

CJI has already reprimanded lawyers

This is not the first time that the Chief Justice has asked lawyers to maintain decorum in the court. Even before this, on several occasions he/she has reprimanded the lawyers for not following the rules and indecent conduct.

Was angry for saying ‘Ya-Ya’ in the court

Earlier this week, an incident had come to light when the Chief Justice had interrupted a lawyer for saying ‘Yeah-Yeah’. he/she said, ‘This is not a coffee shop! What is this ‘yes yes’? I’m very allergic to ‘yes yes’. This will not be tolerated at all.

Earlier this year, during the hearing of an important case related to electoral bonds, the Chief Justice had reprimanded a lawyer for speaking loudly. he/she had said, ‘Don’t shout at me.
