According to the report of NDTV, the victim Renuka Swamy’s testicles had burst and one of her ears was also missing. Renuka Swamy’s body was found in a drain in Kamakshipalya area in Bengaluru on the night of 8 or 9 June. Her face was half eaten by dogs and her body was scratched. The people whose names came up in the police investigation were close to Darshan. Darshan’s name came up during interrogation of them.

It is being told that Renuka Swami was sending obscene messages and pictures to actress Pavitra Gowda. he/she was not happy with the relationship between Darshan and Pavitra because Darshan was already married and was living in a live-in relationship with Pavitra for 10 years. According to reports, Renuka Swami was advising Pavitra to stay away from Darshan. At first Pavitra ignored his/her messages, but later he/she started threatening the actress and sending objectionable messages.

Police said that Darshan, along with his/her associates, beat Renukaswamy badly, due to which he/she died. When the police got the information and started investigating the crime scene, Pavithra Gowda and Darshan were seen leaving from there in the CCTV footage.
